Scholarships

The Avon Lake Historical Society is proud to offer a minimum of one (1) $500.00 scholarships to any graduating Avon Lake resident planning to further their education in technical training, post-secondary vocational, an Associates Degree program, or a four-year college/university.

No GPA minimum is required to qualify.

Requirements:​

Please include resume, unofficial transcript, two (2) letters of recommendations, and an essay answering the following question in 500 words or less : If you were given the opportunity to visit your city's past and discover more about any aspect  of Avon Lake's history, who would you like to meet, what would you like to meet, what would you like to know, and why?
